Home: Office Collage Wall

The weekend is upon us friends, and for some reason i'm looking forward to it. Spring Break has got me a little thrown off this week. Call me crazy, but with Cristen being home all week. and making spontaneous weekend plans, everyday has felt like a Thursday or Friday.
Maybe i'm just excited that today is Thursday because Thursday's are the day you can find anything home on MN blog. Anything that has to do with decorating, designing, interior visualizing, or just being crafty and creative is where my real passion is. I've told you before outfit/fashion post doesn't necessarily thrill me. In many ways than one, home is most definitely where my heart is.
And today i'm sharing with you the before and after collage wall in my new office. The new office isn't completely done, but like I said earlier in the week, things are getting done faster than I thought. I finally sold my old bed and ordered the new one, and i'm very close to finding knobs, that I like, for the chest I painted to go in the office. I do have the task of finding bedding, but i'm optimistic that will be easy.
I'll give more background on my inspiration for the decor and/or theme I chose for this room when I post the full office reveal. A couple main, important objectives however, are to make the room feel light & bright, masculine & feminine. The room is not only my office, but a second guest bedroom as well. I want to keep it gender neutral, to make any guest feel comfortable.
I already had everything for this collage wall, with the exception of the $5 round mirror in the middle that I picked up at Target. That mirror is what inspired me to do the collage wall, because originally the pegboard was going on this wall. To make it light & bright I did a little DIY and chalk painted, a few of the picture frames, using Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in  either Graphite, Old White, and/or Paris Grey. Not that Graphite is a light and bright color, I used it for a pop of boldness and for a modern feel.
I need a few prints to fill the picture frames with, in the meantime, while I take my sweet precious time finding the perfect prints, I plan on going by Hobby Lobby and finding scrapbook/paper crafting paper to suffice. You can get a few sheets of paper, with fun prints, for under $1. A cheap and easy solution for empty picture frames in any room. Fingers crossed i'll find, at least, a couple prints by the time i'm ready to share the full office.
Since I am new to office-ing (not a word, I know), what are some desk/office essentials? I have a list of things I need to get but don't want to leave anything out. Which do you like better, before or after?
