Nightcap by Carisa Rene

This dress, from Nightcap by Carisa Rene, has me lost for the perfect words to describe it. I wish I could wear this dress every single day. It has to be the most comfortable dress I have ever worn, and I am all about comfort. I received so many compliments and felt totally fabulous. My motto for the evening was "You can never be overdressed or overeducated", a quote by Oscar Wilde. I was a little worried that I would be overdressed for the Ellevate event hosted at Tootsies in Houston, because it was my first time attending the event. However, I like the fact that this dress can be dressed down with certain accessories such as, shoes and jewelry, or could easily pass at a formal event.  The neckline has to be one of my favorite parts of the dress. Not to mention, everything else about the dress is perfect.
Where to Get It:
I am a pro member over on Rent The Runway, and when this dress popped up under new arrivals, I just knew I had to wear it. My birthday is in July, so I rented it for practically nothing. As a Pro member of RTR you receive a $50 credit towards a birthday dress. Who doesn't need a birthday dress? I've used RTR many times, and it is so easy. Download the app (or go online on your PC), pick out your dress, reserve your size for the dates you need. RTR will ship it to you along with a return mailing label, and whatever form of packaging, for you to conveniently ship back at no cost. They do the cleaning for you. Here is the thing, if your going to an event that you will be photographed at, it's probably safe to say you won't wear that dress/outfit again to another event. How many times did you drop a couple hundred dollars on a dress and only wore it one time? Would you rather spend $200 +, or rent one for as low as $30? It's a chance to wear designer labels you see on the runway. RTR has yet to fail me and they will be sure and redeem themselves if the original dress you thought you were renting just so happened to be unavailable. Always make sure you return your dress on time so that others can enjoy it to, and so that RTR can ship that dress in good condition to the next doll who needs it for their scheduled event. And, always treat it like it's your dress so you don't have to ship it back damaged/stained. Like I said, they do the dry cleaning for you and if you do have an accident and the dress is damaged, you pay a $5 insurance fee at checkout to cover you rear. The RTR concept is genius and I will continue to rent from them. Have you experienced RTR yet? If so, how was your rental?

Wearing size XS
