Avocado Chocolate Ice Cream

For those of you who haven't tried avocado as a drink, now is the time to do so. This great recipe will have you hooked and possibly replacing chocolate ice cream all together. Yes, I said chocolate ice cream. This chocolate avocado smoothie/ice cream is so good and is a very agreeable alternative to the high sugar, high calorie, fattening, good ole Bluebell. Don't get me wrong, I still indulge on ice cream, this smoothie recipe however can be consumed more frequently than ice cream. Without the guilt that is. Next time your at the grocery store, stock up on the following items and try it out:

1 - Ripe Avocado
3/4 cup Almond Milk
1-2 teaspoon Cacao Powder (1-2 teaspoon of cacao powder depending on your preference for chocolate)
2 tablespoons Xylitol or Agave (I use Xylitol and sometimes add more that 2 tablespoons; start with 1 tablespoon of agave, some are very sweet) 
Add ice
Blend in Ninja 

Voila! Guilt and Dairy Free Chocolate Ice Cream!

Pour in Glass and Enjoy!
