Tree Skirt

Hello everyone! I came up with a brilliant idea to use my leftover burlap material I bought to have my girlfriend make some Christmas stockings with last year as a tree skirt concept. However, it turned out that I didn’t have enough material to do what I wanted. But because I had already bought a couple yards of rope last weeks at Joann’s and because burlap material is cheaper than the actual tree skirt I would love to have, I went ahead and picked up a few yards of some more burlap material at Hobby Lobby yesterday. Im pretty happy with the look of it, it will work until I can get that faux fur tree skirt I have my eye on at Arhaus ;). The new polka dot gift wrap with the ribbon and the burlap makes the tree very rustic glamorous!

Simple Christmas Centerpeice

I finally got the Christmas tree up today. One more day and I was debating whether to even put it up or not but I got the job done. I had a few extra ornaments still in their package from last year that I believe I bought for the staircase garland, and I also picked up a fresh Pine branch bouquet last week at H.E.B for $5! Put the two together in my blue wooden bowl that I never know what to use for, and it makes a nice, simple Christmas centerpiece. If I had them, I think some bigger ornaments would look even better or maybe mix up the two sizes but I am working with what I have. I can see this at the center of the table with fresh pine garland, some pinecones, maybe some berries for any winter festival we may host at the house between now and Christmas. Do you enjoy setting the table for festivities? If not, challenge yourself to set your table for the next occasion you host…Why not!
